A leading global security company is seeking dedicated Intelligence Analysts in Gauteng. This role is responsible for the in-depth analysis of intelligence across G4S operations. G4S Cash Solutions is seeking dedicated and experienced Intelligence Analysts (2 vacancies) to join our Security and Risk team.
This vital management role is responsible for the in-depth analysis of intelligence across G4S operating areas in South Africa.
A key component of the role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with the South African Police Service and other relevant external parties.
Internal Threat Identification : Analyze threats from high-risk individuals through trend identification, lifestyle audits, intelligence received, and active intelligence investigations.
Operational Execution & Mitigation : Execute the Risk Division's operational plan and implement preventative measures to mitigate identified issues, including conducting crime and incident pattern analysis and addressing intelligence issues to detect unethical conduct.
Intelligence / Information Collection : Efficiently use resources to gather information, manage the intelligence database, and act on information to prevent losses.
Stakeholder Liaison : Maintain effective liaison with internal business units, external partners, and all role players in the Cash in Transit (CIT) industry.
Data Management and Analysis : Analyze daily information and incidents, link information (scenes, trends, modus operandi, CCTV footage, Analyst Notebook), and manage the incident database structure to support investigations.
Risk Profiling : Analyze attack / loss data to provide actionable intelligence, determine risk profiles, and reduce losses.
Health and Safety : Participate in safety plans, forums, and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Qualification : Matric / Grade 12 and a Degree / Diploma in Law, Forensic Investigations, Policing, or a related field.
License / Certification : Code B Drivers License and PSIRA Grade E - A.
Experience : 5 years' experience in a similar role, including experience in Law Enforcement.
Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of South African security legislation, Criminal Law, Cash Security company policies, and experience in intelligence gathering, corporate espionage, and theft.
Strong Investigation, Interview, and Analytical Skills.
Proficiency in Analyst Notebook / Online Intelligence systems and creating Spider diagrams.
Computer literate (Excel, MS Outlook, Word, Google Chrome).
Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills and Report Writing ability.
High level of Integrity, self-discipline, and attention to detail.
Ability to handle conflict and maintain composure under difficult circumstances.
Willingness to travel extensively at short notice.
