1. An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
2. At least five years of experience in a similar position.
3. Current SACE registration.
4. Experience with IEB curriculum.
5. A clear criminal record.

1. Collaborating with the executive head and school leadership to uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
2. Performing duties as a teacher and phase head.
3. Promoting reciprocal informal observation of teaching practices.
4. Contributing to curriculum development.
5. Coordinating teaching and learning within the phase.
6. Setting examination papers, managing marking rosters, and moderating assessments.
7. Mentoring teachers within the phase.
8. Leading departmental meetings and maintaining accurate minutes.
9. Participating in school activities.
10. Supporting the executive head in maintaining professional standards and quality of teaching through dialogue with teachers.
11. Demonstrating a personal commitment to education and aligning with the school's values and ethos.
