Southwest Airlines is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Virtual Assistant to support our senior leadership team in managing day-to-day operations, schedules, and confidential communications. This remote role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and can anticipate the needs of executives while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Provide comprehensive virtual administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Prepare, proofread, and edit reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Handle confidential information with absolute integrity and professionalism.
Organize virtual meetings, including setting agendas, preparing materials, and taking detailed minutes.
Act as a point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
Monitor emails, prioritize correspondence, and respond on behalf of executives when appropriate.
Track deadlines, projects, and deliverables to ensure smooth workflow.
Assist with research, data entry, and special projects as assigned.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or similar administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Slack.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Minimum of 2–4 years of executive-level administrative support experience.
Experience supporting C-suite executives in a fast-paced corporate environment is strongly preferred.
Previous experience working remotely is an advantage.
Full-time, remote position.
Standard working hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (CST), with some flexibility required for urgent tasks and executive availability across different time zones.
