A major building materials company is seeking a candidate for a Store Support & Guidance role in George, Western Cape. This position involves providing store support on GNFR processes, coordinating with suppliers, and enforcing compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supplier management, a strong grasp of compliance regulations, and proficiency in analytical skills to enhance procurement efficiency. This role is crucial for ensuring that all stores adhere to established guidelines, optimizing supplier interactions, and maintaining accurate supplier records.
Capture and track supplier non‑performance and elevate serious issues to the Lead GNFR Procurement Manager. Support the onboarding process by collecting required supplier documents and ensuring completeness. Issue RFQ’s, follow up RFQ’s and evaluate RFQ’s for review. Assist payment queries with suppliers. Supplier credit applications, onboarding, and contract management; SLA register of contracts. Administrative tasks.
Identify and flag any non‑compliant behavior or process gaps to the Lead GNFR Procurement Manager. Assist with internal audits by ensuring all supplier contracts, BEE certificates, and compliance documentation are current and correctly filed. Support the rollout of new procurement policies or updated GNFR processes.
Identify cost‑saving opportunities and areas for improvement. Provide insight into GNFR spend patterns, risks, and inefficiencies.
