Workshop Foreman (Transport / Truck Industry) – Klerksoord, Pretoria North

Key Responsibilities

• Diesel mechanic knowledge for reporting faults on trucks.
• Supervise workshop and wash bay staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and task assignment.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of trailers; review completed work for quality.
• Maintain records, process work orders, and update job cards.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Order supplies and operate or arrange servicing of equipment as needed.
• Address and resolve employee or customer issues and complaints.

Requirements

• Education: Qualified Diesel mechanic
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a transport / logistics workshop; experience with tautliner and / or tipper trailers.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills.
