Job Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4)
- Diploma in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (NQF 5)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing, inventory/stock control, logistics, supply chain, or procurement in a manufacturing environment
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Computer literate with MS Office, SAP, ERP, and other relevant systems
- Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, inventory control, and planning processes
- Proactive, action-oriented, and resilient
- Strong problem‑solving, planning, organising, and relationship‑building skills
- Supervisory experience and customer‑focused mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
Warehousing Operations (35%)
- Oversee stock cycle counts and monthly stocktakes
- Ensure FIFO / LOS principles in storage and issuing of stock
- Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate stock coding, storage, and consignment procedures
- Monitor damaged, non‑conforming, and scrap stock
Administration, Systems & Reporting (25%)
- Maintain accurate SAP / ERP database records
- Process invoices, credit notes, and scrap differences
- Manage stationery, protective gear, and H&S documentation
- Ensure accurate record‑keeping and document control
Compliance (10%)
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain a safe and healthy warehouse environment
Customer Service (10%)
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolve operational issues and minimize discrepancies
Staff Supervision (10%)
- Monitor performance agreements and conduct appraisals
- Identify development needs and provide ongoing training
- Handle employee relations matters fairly and promptly
Cost & Financial Control (10%)
- Contribute to budgeting and cost control initiatives
- Monitor and optimise resource usage and prevent waste
- Implement cost‑saving measures and ensure compliance with financial guidelines
