GC Solar is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented WarehouseDispatcher to manage the daily dispatch operations from our Johannesburg warehouse.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating outgoing deliveries, preparing dispatch documentation, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods to clients and branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch Coordination: Schedule and coordinate daily dispatches for outgoing deliveries.
• Prepare accurate dispatch documentation, including delivery notes and packing slips.
• Ensure all goods are correctly picked, packed, and ready for delivery.
• Driver & Route Management: Brief drivers on delivery routes, customer requirements, and safety protocols.
• Track and follow up on deliveries to ensure completion and address any delays.
• Communicate with logistics partners and internal teams regarding scheduling or delivery updates.
• Warehouse & Stock Support: Assist with inventory checks, stock counts, and loading/unloading activities.
• Report any discrepancies or damages identified during dispatch.
• Support general warehouse operations as needed during off-peak dispatch times.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate dispatch records and update delivery statuses.
• Ensure compliance with internal dispatch procedures and safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Matric (Grade 12) or Certificate or diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a dispatch or warehouse coordination role.
• Experience in a technical product environment or the solar / electrical industry is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with delivery documentation and dispatch workflows.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.
• Physically fit and comfortable assisting with dispatch and loading tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends during peak periods.
