Job description
Role Purpose

This role manages a client-facing team in Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney that works with clients, internal Dublin teams, and APAC reinsurance partners at both strategic and operational levels. Responsibilities include overseeing all APAC client relationships, guiding OnPrem clients to cloud services, supporting cloud customers' adoption of new offerings, and building strong commercial partnerships.

Accountabilities
  • Responsible for achieving revenue, profitability and client satisfaction objectives across the APAC region.
  • Establishing and maintaining long term, mutually beneficial commercial relationships with clients.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive Strategic Account plans for each customer.
  • Building robust, multi-level connections within client accounts, fostering strong advocacy for MunichRe.
  • Leading a team that operates effectively at both strategic/commercial and operational levels at accounts.
  • Collaborating proactively with the sales team on pre-sales initiatives throughout the APAC region.
  • Serving as a recognized expert in ALLFINANZ Products and Solutions.
  • Promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion, while developing and guiding a high-performing team.
Essential Requirements
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.

  • Experienced in sales, account management and complex technology projects.
  • Strong problem solver and communicator across verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Experience managing teams and stakeholders locally and remotely.
  • Skilled at identifying opportunities, addressing technical challenges, and persuasive in presenting solutions for client adoption.
  • Experienced with Life Insurance new business and underwriting processes and data/analytics solutions.
  • Proven commercial acumen and contract negotiator.
  • Experience in leading, coaching and team management.
  • Willingness and ability to regularly travel internationally and work flexible hours (timezone challenges).
