About the role

What you need to know:

Assist in underwriting D&O, Crime and FI risks within underwriting limits under direction and guidance from the Product Heads. Manage assigned accounts, ensuring efficient document workflow in line with operational procedures

Technical Underwriting

• Underwrite business within underwriting authority through a rigorous risk assessment process which includes consideration of loss control, claims history and all other appropriate risk management factors
• Ensure adherence with all underwriting guidelines and referrals
• Obtain sign off on each risk from Senior Underwriters or Managers.

Business Operations

• Adhere to internal SLA’s to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of agreed customer service standards

Audit and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to audit requirements
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
