Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and service injection moulding tools used in production.
- Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, surface grinders.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD files for tooling components.
- Conduct measurements and inspections using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct problems.
- Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure tools meet production needs.
- Modify tooling for efficiency improvements and design enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and usage.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure all tools comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
