Overview

My client based in Cape Town (Woodstock) is currently looking for a Test Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

IT / FINANCE

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Commerce, or Computer Science
• 5+ years' experience in test analysis within software development or IT environments, including experience in warehouse management systems or warehouse-related processes
• ISTQB Certification in Test Analysis (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements, designs, and code to prevent defects
• Verify whether all specified requirements have been fulfilled
• Validate that the test object works as expected for users and stakeholders
• Build confidence in the overall quality of the test object
• Identify defects and failures to reduce risks of inadequate software quality
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to make informed decisions
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Use relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Apply QA expertise specifically to warehouse processes and systems
