About The Role

We are currently seeking a qualified Commercial Lawyer for an immediate-start, 3-month contract. This is a specialist role where you will partner with our client as a thought leader and expert practitioner to lead a critical template harmonization project.

You will be instrumental in centralizing and streamlining their commercial contract playbook, delivering a tangible, high-quality solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end harmonization and rationalization of the client's commercial contract templates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key requirements and gain alignment on standardized clauses.
• Update and refine template libraries within the client's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
• Develop and document a coherent contract playbook to guide the business.
• Support the integration of the new templates into the CLM intake process.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified lawyer with demonstrable experience in commercial law.
• Must have direct, hands‑on experience delivering a template harmonization or contract standardization project.
• Must have practical experience working with a CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) tool.
• A problem‑solver who is highly organised and can manage a project independently.
• Able to start on an immediate basis for a 3-month contract.

Desirable Skills (Advantageous)

• Background in the Financial Services or payment platform sector.
• Understanding of legal intake processes and workflow design.
