Technical Sales Manager – AVAX SA 410 (Pty) Ltd | Rustenburg

AVAX SA 410, a leading systems integrator operating across the mining sector and private sector, is seeking a driven and technically strong Technical Sales Manager to join our Rustenburg team.

We specialise in industrial infrastructure, network and wireless transmission, fibre optics, security systems, hardened switching gear, basic solar backup solutions, and full-system integration.

We have dedicated site teams — you will receive all technical inputs directly from them, ensuring you can focus on solution design, communication, and sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the communication flow from site assessment feedback → solution design → quoting → order processing.
  • Review and correct quotes before internal admin sends them out — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and technical correctness.
  • Translate client needs into complete, integrated solutions spanning:
  • Industrial infrastructure
  • Fibre optic installations
  • Wireless transmission & UTP network infrastructure
  • Hardened network switching
  • CCTV, alarms, access control & control-room software
  • Basic solar backup and power resilience systems
  • Drive the sales pipeline, build strong customer relationships, and support long-term account growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers, clean documentation, and professional project rollouts.
  • Represent AVAX SA 410 with professionalism in the mining and private sectors.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in technical sales management or a similar senior role.
  • Strong understanding of ICT, security, networking or infrastructure systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and transform them into commercially viable solutions.
  • High attention to detail, especially in verifying and correcting quotes.
  • Any technical qualifications, vendor certifications, or completed courses are an advantage.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
