What You’ll Do
You’ll be the driving force behind our personalised product range — ensuring every print is flawless, on time, and ready to make someone’s day.
Your role will include:
- Operating and maintaining digital printing machines and branding equipment.
- Managing print quality — from colour calibration to finish — and making real-time adjustments to keep output perfect.
- Preparing, setting up, changing over, and restarting machines for each new job.
- Editing and prepping artwork into print-ready file formats.
- Performing daily preventative maintenance on all print machines.
- Troubleshooting and resolving printing issues quickly to keep workflows smooth.
- Following job specifications to the letter and meeting strict deadlines.
- Inspecting output at every stage to ensure top-tier quality.
- Monitoring inventory of consumables and reducing waste.
- Upholding safety standards and keeping the workspace clean and efficient.
What You’ll Bring
- High school certificate (Matric) and computer literacy.
Hands-on experience with equipment such as:
- Digital Solvent Printers, Sublimation UV Printers, Plotters, Trotec laser engravers, Heatpress & Mug press machines.
- Confidence using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rasterlinks, and similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and settings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good physical health and stamina for a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous print room experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of different print techniques and materials.
Willingness to work overtime and shifts as required.
