Job summary

A healthcare provider in Milnerton is seeking a Technical Assistant to perform maintenance on buildings and equipment. The role involves technical job execution, risk management, coordination of contractors, and administrative duties within the Technical Department. Candidates should have at least a Grade 10 qualification and 2-3 years of experience in general building maintenance. A Code B Driver’s Licence is desirable. This is a permanent, on-site position with one vacancy available.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' minimum experience in general building maintenance (basic).
• Possession of a Code B Driver’s Licence is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform requested technical jobs within the Hospital.
• Identify and control risk in the technical environment within the Hospital.
• Coordinate and monitor work done by on-site contractors within the Hospital.
• Perform office administration duties within the Technical Department.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within the Technical Department.
