Position Summary

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing recruitment effectiveness through data integrity analytics and reporting. This role supports the optimisation of recruitment systems and processes by delivering actionable insights and maintaining high standards of data accuracy.

The Analyst is responsible for conducting system audits, analysing recruitment metrics, and creating dashboards and reports that inform strategic decisions. Partnering closely with HR teams, recruitment leads, and system administrators, this role ensures that data is reliable, accessible, and used to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in data visualisation tools, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Scope
  • Location: Cape Town, South Africa
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Office requirement: 5 days a week
Key Responsibilities
Data Integrity & System Audits
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance within recruitment platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues and resolve discrepancies with system support.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyse recruitment KPIs and trends to provide insights on hiring performance, pipeline health, and time‑to‑fill metrics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for Talent Acquisition teams and leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations summarising analytics and recommendations.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner with HR and recruitment teams to identify data needs and develop custom visualisations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing data‑driven solutions.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of data analytics best practices.
Compliance & Confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Maintain and treat confidential information with absolute discretion.
Additional Duties
  • Provide timely updates and information to stakeholders.
  • Attend relevant meetings to stay aligned with recruitment objectives.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Tertiary education in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or HR environments with a focus on data analysis.
  • Experience with ATS, HRIS, or recruitment analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
