Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Systems & IT Support Technician based in Pretoria, South Africa. The successful candidate will have experience in desktop hardware/software support, including troubleshooting, as well as a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Qualifications such as A+, N+, and MCSE are considered advantageous. The role requires the ability to perform repairs and support for various IT services including printers and networks.

Qualifications

  • Matric.
  • 1 - 3 years of applicable experience.
  • Working knowledge of network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of desktop/notebook hardware and software.
  • Supporting standard end user applications.
  • Supporting printers and print services.
  • Cloud Service Support.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs on laptops, desktops and some peripherals.
