Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Policing or similar environment.
• 5 years managerial and 3 years supervisory experience in a Policing environment.
• Registered as Peace Officer.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead and coordinate policing operations within the City of Cape Town.
• Plan, monitor and control budget; oversee theft and loss.
• Ensure good working relations between the City and external service providers.

Skills

Computer literacy in MS Office Applications

Proficiency in two of the official languages of the Western Cape

Report Writing and presentation skills

Knowledge of relevant legislations, regulations and policies

Valid Driver’s licence (at least code B)

Education

Relevant Degree/B Tech in Policing or similar field
