Role Overview

We’re entering our next phase of growth and establishing a dynamic, tech-driven RELEX capability in Cape Town. We are looking for people who are passionate about solving Supply Chain business problems and making a real impact on customer success. We are seeking a talented and motivated Supply Chain Consultant to join our dynamic team.

Your responsibilities lie in the business and solutions aspects of RELEX implementations.

You will analyse customer supply chains to optimise business processes and translate requirements into our software solution. Leveraging your expertise in SCM and our platform, you will advise customers, define KPIs to ensure success, and deliver measurable value.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in Cape Town approx. 3 days in the office 8-5pm. If you’re applying from another location, please be aware relocation to Cape Town will be required and would need to be arranged personally.

Role Description

This role blends technical configuration, business process understanding, and client-facing consulting, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and shaping scalable supply chain solutions.

• Support customers throughout the full lifecycle: from purchase to go-live and ongoing continuous service.
• Lead and participate in customer workshops and calls, including design, configuration, and playback sessions.
• Provide expert advice on software and Supply Chain Management to deliver added value.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective processes and solutions.
• Own and manage the configuration plan, integrate it into project plans, provide time estimates, and escalate delays.
• Design and consult on changes to business logic and system configuration.
• Optimise model outputs (e.g., forecast accuracy).
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure customer success.
• Lead and participate in customer workshops and calls, including design, configuration, and playback sessions.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical RELEX Solutions expertise, consulting know-how, and strong client empathy.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or 3 to 4 years relevant experience working with retail customers and with retail planning processes.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management software from both a business and IT perspective.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, develop customized solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
