We're looking for a versatile, execution-first marketer to supercharge local growth through partnerships, PR, and place-based tactics.

As Studio Growth & Local Marketing Lead, you will contribute to meeting our marketing team's KPIs :
members within 6 months
This role is ideal for a driven, experienced local marketer with strong executional chops who thrives in a fast-moving, goal-oriented environment.
You’ll work closely with our Leader, Performance Marketing from strategy to execution of high-converting local marketing initiatives that attract, engage, and convert members.
You’ll focus on struggling studios first, diagnosing local gaps, activating the community, and turning wins into repeatable playbooks that scale across markets.
Increase new member signups at bottom-quartile studios by weekly growth targets
Launch a repeatable "Struggling Studio Recovery" playbook (diagnostics ? actions ? tracking)
Establish 5+ local partnerships per priority studio
Deploy OOH and direct mail in target trade areas with trackable CTAs
Deliver a monthly attribution report linking new members to local channels
Analyze each studio's local area : demographics, foot traffic, competitors, and signage opportunities
Review local community groups, forums, and conversations to understand awareness and sentiment
Build studio-specific growth plans with clear member impact forecasts
Identify and close partnerships with nearby businesses (health, wellness, food, childcare, gyms)
Plan and execute in-studio pop-ups, open days, and community events
Build and pilot local employer partnerships to drive member acquisition through workplace wellness programs
Structure referral and benefit exchanges
Pitch and secure features in local media, newsletters, and community blogs
Oversee flyers, inserts, and direct mail with trackable offers
Authentically engage local forums (Facebook Groups, Nextdoor, Reddit)
Manage local OOH and digital signage near studios (shopping centers, bus stops, malls)
Coordinate flags, window vinyl, and A-frame signage
Report on daily / weekly new members from local sources
Document experiments, learnings, and rollout playbooks
Work with Creative team for localized assets
Align with Outbound team for lead handling and scripts
Coordinate with Influencers / Organic team to localize content
Feed insights to Paid Advertising team for geo-targeted tests
5+ years in local or field marketing, community partnerships, or multi-location growth
Proven record of driving local traffic and memberships through community-based marketing
Experience leading small teams, contractors, or cross-functional workstreams
Hands-on with QR / UTM tracking, GA4, and campaign reporting
Strong outreach, negotiation, and project management skills
Comfortable running scrappy experiments and scaling what works
Clear communicator with a sharp eye for detail and follow-through

Although thereis some flexibility with the work schedule, youwill need a few hours each day in both the US and AUS time zonesto collaboratewithinternational colleagues (i.e. : 7am-11am and 3pm-7pm SAST).
