About the Organization

Emerisconsolidates resources and expertise from IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE-Vega School, and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management, with a unified approach ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in teaching, learning, and student support.

Emeris, Online Centre has a vacancy for a Student Advisors (Distance). N.B This position may be based at either our Cape Town or Waterfall (Midrand) Online Centres.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Database Capturing and Integrity: Ensure all database (online, telephonic enquiries, walk-ins) secured is captured accurately and in full on SIMS.
  • For leads that are integrated into SIMS (e.g. website leads, online applications etc.) ensure that all additional student personal information is captured.
Consultations
  • Ensure all database (online, telephonic enquiries, walk-ins) secured is captured accurately and in full on SIMS.
  • After the initial telephone call, send all necessary information via email.
  • Responds to and consults with, if necessary, all applications not yet consulted with.
  • Conducts follow up calls with all enquiries within 5 working days of initial contact.
Applications
  • Secure applications by following the consultation process with all leads and enquiries.
  • Follow up with unpaid online applications to secure payment and necessary certified supporting documentation.
  • Complete required weekly follow up calls to secure applications.
  • Achieve set individual application targets as determined by Head: Student Recruitment (Distance).
  • Drive applications to accept offer of admission and pay the required pre-registration fee.
Registration Targets
  • Achieve individual registration target as determined by Head: Student Recruitment (Distance).
Stakeholder Management and Customer Service
  • Internal customer points to note - interaction with his/her team members, interaction with other campus staff outside his/her team, interaction with Campus Senior management and Campus Head.
  • Manages relationships in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Ensures and enables clear and open communication between the stakeholders and the brand.
  • Conducts regular meetings with stakeholders.

Minimum Education Requirements
  • 3 Year Diploma / Bachelors Degree (NQF level 7) in Business / Marketing / Public Relations / Communication field or similar
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years Sales Consultant/ Customer Relations Consulting experience.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday : 08:00 -17: 00
Salary
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
