A leading sales organization based in South Africa, Gauteng, is seeking a strategic sales leader to foster connections and drive growth in the EMEA/AS region. The role involves overseeing sales activities, managing relationships with key clients, and ensuring the fulfillment of targets. The ideal candidate must have a relevant degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and extensive experience in the mining and raw materials handling industry, with proven leadership in a senior management capacity.
The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic sales leader in the EMEA / AS Region, fostering connections between customers and business units in Germany.
This role entails guiding customer-facing activities, achieving set targets for the sub-region, and establishing frameworks for order intake and sales efforts.
Broaden and maintain relationships with key clients in the sub-region.
Develop and execute a profitable growth strategy for the industry in the sub-region; coordinate regional objectives.
Regularly track and report on business plan progress using agreed KPIs; implement adjustments as necessary to meet or exceed goals.
A relevant tertiary qualification (degree / diploma) in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in the Mining and raw materials handling industry or Power Oil and Gas sector.
At least 5 years of senior-level people management experience.
This position requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and effective communication abilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding customer base, and implementing process improvements.
