About the job Stock Controller George (Permanent)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock Controller to manage inventory and ensure that stock levels are maintained accurately. The Stock Controller will be responsible for tracking stock movements, performing stock counts, and assisting in the ordering and receiving of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels.

Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations.

Record all stock movements (inbound and outbound).

Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.

Update stock records and systems regularly.

Report stock variances, damages, or losses.

Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.

Ensure proper storage and labelling of goods.

Comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Previous experience in stock control or a warehouse environment.

Computer literacy (MS Excel and stock management systems).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to read, write, and speak Afrikaans.
