Specialist Services Engineer (Tier 3)

Are you a senior IT professional with deep technical expertise and a track record of successful project delivery? A high-performing team in Bellville is looking for a Specialist Services Engineer (T3) to lead complex implementations, mentor junior engineers, and drive excellence across infrastructure, cloud, and client environments.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Leading and executing IT projects from planning to post-implementation review
  • Providing advanced technical support and resolving escalated issues
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization platforms, and server environments
  • Managing client relationships and delivering clear, professional communication
  • Mentoring T1 and T2 engineers and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
  • Handling root cause analysis, incident reports, and system documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with ITIL, COBIT5, and best‑practice configuration standards
What you’ll need :
  • Matric or NQF equivalent
  • A+ and N+ (CompTIA)
  • MCSA or equivalent (AZ900, MS900)
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT support, field service, and project implementation
  • Proven experience managing and delivering IT infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, switches, routers, and telephony systems
  • Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT5 frameworks (certification is a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
