We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our online marketing and community engagement efforts for our client. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven, and passionate about building a strong brand presence across digital platforms.
This role involves developing and managing social media campaigns, producing engaging content, running paid advertising, and ensuring that the company maintains a positive online reputation.
Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management
- Plan, create, and post high-quality content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop content calendars and ensure consistent posting aligned with marketing goals.
- Oversee community interactions, respond to comments and messages, and maintain a professional tone across all channels.
- Track performance metrics, analyse engagement data, and make recommendations for improvement.

Digital Marketing & Paid Media
- Manage paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google.
- Optimise campaign budgets, targeting, and creative content to achieve the best ROI.
- Monitor ad performance and prepare detailed reports with insights and improvement strategies.

Online Reputation Management (ORM)
- Monitor brand mentions and online conversations across social media, forums, and review platforms.
- Respond promptly and tactfully to both positive and negative reviews.
- Identify risks or potential crises early and assist in managing public communication when necessary.

Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new social media features, and best practices.
- Provide monthly reports and insights to management.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- A relevant Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Communication, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in social media management and digital marketing
- Proven experience managing paid social media and Google advertising campaigns
- Solid understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics)
- Experience using social listening or ORM tools
- Background in working with multiple brands or high-volume campaigns will be an advantage
