About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and hardworking Social Media & Community Specialist to join the Versus Socks Marketing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a strong passion for marketing, and fully embraces the active lifestyle that defines the Versus brand.

You will report directly to the Marketing Manager and take full ownership of all social media and community management. This role requires dedication beyond standard office hours, social media doesn’t stop on weekends or evenings, and you’ll need to be ready to engage with our audience in real time.

If you have a deep understanding of Instagram, love creating and managing content, and want to connect with our community in an authentic way, this role is for you.

Responsibilities


Community Management:

  • Manage all community interactions on Instagram, LinkedIn, Strava, and Facebook
  • Respond to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions promptly and professionally
  • Build genuine relationships with followers, customers, and brand advocates


Content Posting & Planning:

  • Post across all platforms according to the content calendar
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan monthly content calendars
  • Attend photoshoots and activations to capture behind-the-scenes content
  • Ensure brand tone and voice is consistent across all channels


Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and analyse social media analytics
  • Provide monthly reports with recommendations for improved performance


Athlete & Influencer Management:

  • Manage all communication with Versus athletes and influencers
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations and ensure deliverables are met

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management or community management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ambitious mindset with a strong drive to grow and improve
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand positioning
  • A passion for the Versus active lifestyle and ability to relate to our audience

  • Ability to analyse social media analytics and suggest strategies for improved performance
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Willingness to work flexibly (after-hours and weekends when needed)
