The Senior Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role within the Country Sales team, driving excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers and accounts. The role focuses on building expert knowledge in key categories and sharing this with the customer to create long‑term partnerships and increase profit and sales. The TMM leads category management strategies in the country, concentrating on increasing Reckitt Benckiser’s in‑store presence, strengthening brands, optimising product assortment and promotional strategy.

As part of an experienced and dynamic Sales team, you will be responsible for defining Category trade marketing KPIs and driving execution. Continuous analysis of the customer’s position and collaboration with the Key Account Manager will guide in‑store actions aimed at strengthening Reckitt’s category position.

This senior role requires visibility and collaboration across departments for success.
Your responsibilities
  • Solid coaches in trade marketing, sales, or marketing with a proven track record of crafting compelling trade strategies.
  • Overall ownership of brand and category 4P and preparation of the P&L.
  • Key role in monthly forecasting by brand/sku/customer with data‑driven insights.
  • Develop and track the most optimal promotional strategy across relevant brands and customer channels, focusing on ROI of promotional mechanics.
  • Oversee and track the distribution program, driving gap closure through support to the sales team.
  • Manage all in‑store POS across relevant customer channels and brands, ensuring execution aligns with brand strategy.
  • Prepare and execute innovations within relevant customers.
  • Define Category trade marketing KBDs and drive execution.
  • Maintain.steps close collaboration with sales key accounts and head of customer teams in day‑to‑day execution.
  • Develop and train direct reports for their next career stage.
  • Optimise the monthly sales operating model.
  • Prepare your own analysis and insights.
  • Prepare local category growth strategies and present them to customers.
  • Insight‑driven with a strong understanding of trade channels and consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and translation of insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a results‑driven mindset and ability to adapt to market shifts; effective communicator and influencer, adept at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
  • Proficient in using syndicated data tools (e.g., Nielsen/IRI), Excel, PowerPoint and relevant category management software.
The experience we're looking for
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree relevant to the field.
  • 4‑6 years of FMCG experience in Sales Key Account positions.
  • 3 years in trade marketing as a Trade Marketing Manager.
  • Experience within FMCG industry (advantageous).
  • Having managed direct reports (advantageous).
  • Computer literate including strong PowerPoint & Excel skills, data systems like IQVIA, Nielsen and various customer portal data.
  • Strong understanding of customer channels: modern trade, drug, traditional trade.
  • Full understanding of financials, responsible for P&L and ROI analysis of portfolio.
  • Solid background in trade marketing, sales or marketing with a proven track record of crafting compelling trade strategies.
  • Insight‑driven with a strong understanding of trade channels and consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and translation of insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a results‑driven mindset and ability to adapt to market shifts; effective communicator and influencer, adept at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
