SME Consultant – Job Description

Location: South Africa (Office-based / Field Sales)

Salary: R7 – R15 per month + Commission + Incentives + Fuel Allowance (where applicable)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (Optional weekends)

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and professional SME Consultant to join our growing business team at WSE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, contact, and onboard new SME clients through field visits, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing business customers.
  • Present and promote WSE's telecom and digital solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conduct on-site or virtual meetings with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle – from lead generation and proposals to closing deals.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable car (essential).
  • Minimum 2 years' sales experience, preferably in SME, telecom, or B2B solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Professional presentation and customer service skills.
  • Strong self-management and goal orientation.
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
  • Matric or higher qualification required.
