Our client in the Agricultural industry is looking for a skilled Shift Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO

Minimum requirements

• Matric
• Red Seal certification as a Qualified Electrician or Electrical Millwright
• 4 years of experience in a hands‑on role involving maintenance, fault detection and repairs in a similar industry would be highly beneficial
• Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational tasks, managing the entire packing process from sorting to final packaging
• Train and mentor staff to improve technical skills, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols
• Supervise the maintenance crew to ensure continuous machinery functionality and overall packhouse performance
• Perform electrical, mechanical and electronic repairs
• Maintain infrastructure, including all electrical, plumbing and general maintenance for both the packhouse and office spaces
• Ensure smooth shift coordination, especially for the pre-sorting and packing operations
