About the team

The Talent Team is central to Luno’s growth, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best talent globally. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be a vital part of this function, directly supporting the expansion and attrition of our core business units, including our tech function. You will join a highly collaborative and strategic team dedicated to operational excellence, diversity, and delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

The role in a nutshell

You will be the strategic senior talent partner responsible for driving end-to-end Talent Acquisition across both Tech and Product. This role requires a balance of hands‑on Talent Acquisition, strategic process optimisation, and proactive stakeholder management to ensure we secure the diverse, high‑calibre talent needed to achieve Luno's ambitious growth objectives.

Your mission will be
  • Deliver the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle, leading and executing end-to-end hiring from strategic sourcing to offer management across a wide range of functions, including technical roles
  • Partner with senior business leaders to define talent needs, aligning Talent Acquisition initiatives with overarching organisational growth plans and providing data‑driven insights on talent pools and market availability
  • To become an expert in People and TA systems (ATS, CRM, etc.), leveraging tools to automate, track, and enhance Talent Acquisition outcomes
  • Enhance Capability and Brand: Design and deliver training programmes for hiring managers on best‑in‑class interviewing, technical competency frameworks, and DEI‑aligned practices. Champion a best‑in‑class candidate experience and actively shape Luno's employer value proposition
A little about you
  • 5 - 7 years experience working within full‑cycle, strategic Talent Acquisition, with a proven track record of successfully hiring across both core corporate functions and specialised technical roles
  • Fintech experience would be a plus. Crypto fintech experience would be ideal
  • You possess a strong understanding of a wide range of talent pools and sourcing strategies specific to the fintech industry
  • You are a natural collaborator, adept at partnering with stakeholders and providing clear, data‑driven market insights to guide strategic workforce decisions
  • You are passionate about creating a positive candidate experience and shaping an inclusive employer brand
