Job Description
Business Development
- Achieve annual sales targets and expand market share across the region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, clients, and market segments.
- Attend and represent the company at local and international conferences and congresses.
- Manage sales activities and pipelines using Salesforce CRM.
- Lead product training, demonstrations, and installations in collaboration with the local partner.
- Oversee tenders, contracts, and customer engagement initiatives.
Strategy & Marketing
- Support the launch of new business models and commercial strategies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and associations.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and healthcare reimbursement policies.
- Represent the company with key stakeholders, including policymakers and medical associations.
Channel Partner Management
- Strengthen the relationship with the existing distributor network.
- Provide commercial and technical guidance to partners to support sales success.
- Oversee day-to-day operational and tactical activities to ensure business continuity.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years' experience in sales management within the medical equipment (not devices or consumable of medicines) industry.
- Proven success in capital equipment sales, technical training, and key account management.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and strong business acumen in the South African healthcare landscape.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 60%).
