Job summary

A well-established building contractor in Gauteng is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will prepare and manage budgets, monitor contract compliance, and mentor junior staff. A minimum of 10 years' construction experience is required, alongside a BTech in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. The role offers negotiable salary based on experience, catering to large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in building construction (contractor-side).
• Strong understanding of JBCC and other relevant construction contracts.
• Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and cash flows.
• Measure and value work done on site (including subcontractor valuations).
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs) and procurement schedules.
