• Monitor project costs, track variations, and manage cost control throughout the construction phase.
• Administer contracts, including reviewing, preparing, and negotiating subcontractor agreements and variations.
• Evaluate claims and variations submitted by contractors and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure budget adherence and accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate financial exposure.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including interim valuations, final accounts, and project cost reports.
• Advise on contractual and procurement matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Mentor junior QS staff and provide guidance on technical and contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project financials and contractual issues.
