Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required.
• Welding Inspector Level II or equivalent certification essential.
• NDT qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality activities to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee quality assurance and control activities.
• Coordinate inspections and manage quality documentation.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Familiarity with fabrication specifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME IX)

Understanding of NDE/NDT methods and reports

Knowledge of welding, cutting, forming processes

Knowledge of oil and gas industry processes

Education

Matric (Grade 12)

Welding Inspector Level II or CSWIP 3.1 certification
