Alacrity, a division of Saratoga, is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join the international team at our client, Worldwide Chain Stores.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the successful implementation of Worldwide Chain Stores' products into clients' businesses, ensuring that project execution aligns with strategic objectives.
This role involves leading high-impact projects in the IT and supply chain sectors, managing globally distributed teams, delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of projects, including scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resourcing.
You will ensure successful planning and management of customer projects across the globe, delivering in line with business and customer expectations.
Develop project plans, goals, and budgets and identify resources required.
Assemble, coordinate and schedule project teams, assigning individual responsibilities and ensuring effective performance.
Develop project schedules and methods for measuring results.
Plan, organise and manage all phases of the project to ensure on‑time and on‑budget completion.
Resourcing and scheduling of projects to align with organisational priorities.
Conduct project planning and evaluation to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Manage and deliver customer communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Obtain project sign‑offs and ensure customer satisfaction across all stages of the project.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through effective project delivery.
Proactively resolve project challenges, escalating issues when needed to the Programme / Operations Manager.
Manage risks and impacts on project timelines and budgets.
Ensure all billable work is accurately accounted for during project execution.
Communicate clearly and professionally to build customer trust and satisfaction.
Measure and ensure customer satisfaction in project delivery and consultancy services.
Create and manage Statements of Work (SoW) to clearly define project deliverables and scope.
Implement change control processes and manage timesheet tracking.
Leverage knowledge of business process tools to enhance project efficiency.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or a related discipline with strong academic results.
Completed Project Management certifications such as PMI or PRINCE2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, professional services, or service delivery roles within the IT and supply chain sectors.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience handling multiple implementations across diverse teams and geographies.
Foundational knowledge of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance, with the ability to apply these skills in medium to business‑critical project environments.
The ability to understand and communicate complex technology issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and methodologies as defined by PMI, PRINCE2, or similar professional frameworks.
Experience and exposure to Agile methodologies.
Proven ability to effectively interface with senior management, project teams, third parties, and customers.
Demonstrable passion for building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
Comfort in managing projects and customers across multiple geographies and time zones.
Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to solve problems and innovate.
