Qualifications

Senior Professional Nurse

Reference: CPT Yon-1. Our client, a highly regarded Private Hospital, is seeking to employ a dynamic and energetic Senior Professional Nurse.

Overview

The aim of this position is to ensure a safe, positive patient experience by supporting the unit manager in the coordination of patient care and management of the unit.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
  • Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
  • Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged.
Job Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in General Nursing.
  • Midwifery.
  • Post graduate certificate / diploma in specialty area.
  • 3 years post qualification experience.
