Job Title:Senior Practitioner/Assistant Team Manager – Adults Team

Location:East London

Rate:£36 per hour

An amazing job role has recently become available in East London. They are looking for a Senior Practitioner/Assistant Team Manager for their Adults team.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will plan and monitor tasks to facilitate the achievement of business objectives within your designated team in Adult Services. You will conduct effective appraisals and provide supervision to staff to enhance service delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of Council services. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with Safeguarding Adults policies, adhering to relevant local and national regulations. You will support team members in maintaining and elevating professional standards within Adult Services. Furthermore, you will advocate for a strengths-based model of self-directed support, empowering service users and carers to determine their own solutions with a focus on achieving desired outcomes.

Qualifications and Experiences:

To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK licence, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent in Social Work. You should have experience in providing management support to social workers as well as have experience completing Care Act assessments, MCAs, safeguarding enquiries, and social work tasks.
