Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to spearhead our commerce media, retail media, and CRM strategies. This role blends digital marketing expertise, e-commerce growth, and customer lifecycle management to drive measurable full funnel brand impact and sales conversion. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on with execution, able to design frameworks, lead cross-functional teams, and execute campaigns across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives, focusing on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. Optimizing across full funnel digital media channels (e.g. Google, TikTok, META).
  • Commerce Media Strategy: Develop and implement integrated media plans across retailer platforms (e.g., Shoprite Sixty60, Clicks, Dis-Chem, Takealot, Amazon), ensuring ROI-driven targeting and attribution.
  • E-commerce Growth: Optimize product listings, search visibility, and conversion funnels. Partner with sales and design teams to elevate the online shopping experience.
  • CRM Leadership: Design and execute CRM programs to acquire, retain, and grow customer value. Segment audiences, personalize communications, and measure lifecycle impact.
  • Performance & Analytics: Define KPIs, monitor campaign effectiveness, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, trade marketing, IT, and external agencies to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Budget Stewardship: Manage media budgets with precision, balancing efficiency and impact.
  • Innovation & Trendspotting: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, programmatic solutions, and best practices in commerce media and CRM.
