Develop Sasol's overall strategy linked to the transformation of its existing assets by identifying what it will take to win in the long term.

Collaborate with working teams across the organisation to provide clear boundary conditions to develop options.

Establish and maintain a decision‑making framework to screen opportunities.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead future sustainable feedstock strategy for Southern Africa establishing where to play and how to win across the high priority feedstocks that have the highest probability of success.
  • Lead future sustainable product strategy for Southern Africa establishing where to play and how to win across the high priority feedstocks that have the highest probability of success.
  • Develop clear boundary conditions for business building to enable asset configuration studies.
  • Establish investment criteria linked to the transformation of existing assets.
  • Collaborate with existing technical, marketing and business development teams to ensure a coherent approach linked to incrementally growing value.
  • Ensure consistency on delivery of multiple workstreams to ensure a consistent comparative set of results that can be assessed against other portfolio priorities.

Strong understanding of financial market metrics.

Understanding of company valuation methodologies and the impact of choices on feedstock, assets and products on long‑term risk and value addition to the Sasol Group.

Formal Education : Relevant 3–4‑year University bachelor's degree Min Experience : 12+ years, however this can be reduced based on relevant consulting experience or specific experience in financial market valuation methodologies. Sasol is an equal‑opportunity and affirmative‑action employer.
