Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents within SLA.
  • Manage incidents assigned to external vendors.
  • Conduct hardware repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure IT equipment is operational in line with disaster recovery plans.
  • Support new site rollouts and hardware/software upgrades.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on IT incidents and resolutions.
  • Provide advanced technical support for complex incidents.

Skills

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Servers, Desktops, Security)

About this position

iMasFinance, a financial services Cooperative, is looking for a Senior DTS Technician. This position reports to the IT Service Desk Manager and is responsible for second-line user support, vendor and third-party incident management, preventative maintenance, and IT project rollouts.

Responsibilities
  • Second-Line User Support
    • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents within SLA.
    • Escalate issues to third-level support when necessary.
    • Provide management feedback and reporting.
  • Vendor and Third-Party Incident Management
    • Manage incidents assigned to external vendors.
    • Escalate critical incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Site Visits and Maintenance
    • Conduct hardware repairs and troubleshooting.
    • Perform routine maintenance to ensure IT infrastructure reliability.
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Ensure IT equipment is operational in line with disaster recovery plans.
  • Project Implementation
    • Support new site rollouts and hardware/software upgrades.
    • Set up and maintain workstation images.
  • Management Reporting
    • Provide timely and accurate reports on IT incidents and resolutions.
  • Special Functions
    • Provide advanced technical support for complex incidents.
    • Offer executive IT support for senior leadership.
    • Assist with physical access management and asset tracking.
    • Conduct end-user IT training to improve digital literacy.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Essential:
    • A+ Certification & MCP Qualification
    • 1-2 years of experience as a DTS Technician
    • Valid Driver’s License
  • Preferred:
    • ITIL knowledge, N+ or MCSE certification
