Role: Senior Business Central Functional Lead

Experience: 8-12 years (with minimum 5 years on Business Central)

Working Days: Remote (UK Shift)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Central Functional Consultant to lead our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations. This role involves full ownership of solution delivery, close collaboration with business stakeholders, and mentoring junior team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Business Central across Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, and CRM modules.
  • Gather requirements, prepare functional design documents, and translate business needs into scalable BC solutions.
  • Configure and customise Business Central based on client requirements
  • Guide data migration strategy and execution, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Drive UAT planning and execution, prepare training materials, and deliver end-user training.
  • Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with technical and onshore teams for integrations with 3rd party systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants in solution delivery and best practices.
  • Ensure strong governance, documentation, and compliance with change management processes.
Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Experience: 8–12 years in ERP Implementation roles.
  • Proven experience in at least 5–6 full lifecycle BC implementations.
  • Strong functional expertise in Finance, plus exposure to Supply Chain/Projects/Manufacturing.
  • Hands‑on experience in requirement gathering, configuration, data migration, UAT, and training.
  • Knowledge of BC integrations and extensions (good to have).
  • Microsoft certification (MB-800 or equivalent) mandatory.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with UK/European clients.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior consultants.
