Job summary

A growing accounting firm is seeking a Senior Full-Time Bookkeeper to oversee advanced bookkeeping functions, including managing financial transactions and preparing reports. Qualifications

  • At least 3-4 years in bookkeeping within an accounting practice.

Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and post them in accounting software.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the trial balance.
  • Review and issue management reports for clients.
  • Manage VAT reconciliation and submission.

Skills

Strong math and calculation skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Problem-solving skills
Leadership and supervisory skills
Proficient in Afrikaans and English

Education

Completed Certificate or Diploma in accounting/bookkeeping
Matric with good grades in mathematics/accounting
