Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records by establishing and managing accounts while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems, including charts of accounts and bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Verify, allocate, and post transactions to ensure data accuracy.
  • Balance accounts through timely reconciliation of entries.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising key account information and trends.
  • Support team success by contributing to related tasks and projects as required.
  • Manage client invoicing, billing, and timely processing of payments.
  • Assist in audits and provide relevant documentation.
  • Handle online banking and ensure efficient processing of financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Relevant tertiary Accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in full-function bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel or similar) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
