Overview

Were hiring a Cloud Developer (BI Tableau & DevOps) for one of South Africa's leading establishments where data-driven insights play a central role in strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who enjoys transforming complex data into clear meaningful analytics. Youll combine your back-end data engineering expertise with advanced Tableau development skills to design and maintain the cloud-based data layers that support enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Designing andoptimising ETL processes using SQL to manage data flow across AWS Redshift and Snowflake
• Building robust data models that align with analytical and reporting requirements
• Managing and provisioning cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
• Troubleshooting and fine-tuning data warehouse performance
• Developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards that deliver accurate actionable insights
• Collaborating closely with analysts data scientists and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ensuring all workflows models and reports are well-documented and aligned with best practice standards

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of experience in Tableau development and data visualisation
• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases
• Background in data processing extraction transformation and modelling
• Working knowledge of AWS Redshift and Snowflake environments
• Familiarity with Terraform and Azure DevOps
• A solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling
