Job summary

A financial services company in George, South Africa is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their accounting team and manage financial statements for clients. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience, and extensive knowledge of VAT laws and payroll administration. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience compiling financial statements.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS for SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and bank transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements.
• Support during independent reviews or audit engagements.
