SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - R60k-R50k pm - CBD CAPE TOWN

Our client, a Global Logistics Entity, is looking for a Go-getter Senior Accountant. Room for growth within the Entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable
• Prepare and distribute client invoices, update clients' Statement of Accounts, follow up with clients about outstanding payments
• Post client invoices
• Post bank statements and perform bank reconciliations
• Verify correctness of vendor invoices via an established reconciliation process
• Post supplier invoices
• Reconcile and post Senior Management expenses
• Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements
• Assist with financial analysis of various projects or initiatives
• Contribute to the improvement of the existing accounting processes
• Build cross-functional relationships across the company

Requirements

• Finance Degree plus articles
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced Excel
• XERO Software, QBO software advantageous
• Very good oral and written communication skills
• Practical and logical approach to resolving business problems
• Professional, proactive, open to learning
