About the role:

We are seeking a professional and experienced Security Officer to join our team in providing 24-hour security - ensuring the safety and protection of staff, patients, visitors and government high-value assets.

Key responsibilities include attending alarms and code blacks, conducting regular rounds and engaging proactively with staff, visitors and patients. You will be equipped with necessary resources such as uniforms, radios and required PPE during your shifts to facilitate seamless communication and operational effectiveness whilst ensuring your own personal safety. You will be supported with ongoing operational training and will be assessed regularly against local and district guidelines and policies. You will be assigned to experienced Officers during your training phase and will be given opportunities to progress your career through a number of different pathways.

About you:
  • We require a Security Officer who is reliable, very professional and physically fit
  • Is able to work all rostered 8-hour shifts across a 24/7 roster
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and show initiative when required
  • Communicates effectively with all stakeholders, maintains confidentiality at all times and approaches all situations with compassion and professionalism
