Primary Role
- To drive and deliver profitable revenue growth in the Processed Foods and Pharmaceutical Sector for Southern Africa (With specific focus on corporate accounts, local and regional strategic accounts)
- Customer retention - Driving SLA adherence and support for the current customer base whereby demonstrating Diversey's value and partnership is essential
- Managing a team to ensure all customer are supported, new opportunities are identified and driven with a short sales cycle.
Key Accountabilities
- Achievement of the assigned revenue growth and GP targets (AOP)
- Understanding buying patterns and probabilities on new opportunities to compile accurate weekly and monthly revenue forecasts
- Detailed understanding and support of customer SLAs - Driving support and adherence (Building relationships with key stakeholders is crucial)
- Achieve customer satisfaction resulting in optimal retention of existing business and growth of new business
- Works closely with extended commercial team (i.e. Corporate Accounts, Regional Marketing, Pricing, and Applications) to understand business requirements and market needs.
- Sell new business and new applications in your territory. Develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities including documenting ROI and value delivery.
- Establish, maintain and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC. -Manage profitability of the account
- Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements
- Managing a team to ensure all customer are supported, new opportunities are identified and driven with a short sales cycle.
Education & Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related account management experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or Chemistry. Additional courses/qualifications in sales would be advantageous.
