SayPro – Digital SC Global Sustainability Analyst
Unilever Ice Cream, the world's leading ice‑cream company, is preparing to stand on its own as a single‑category focused business. The role is part of the newly formed Digital Supply Chain (DSC) team and focuses on sustainability reporting and data transformation.
JOB PURPOSE
Drive innovation and lead our business to new heights by spearheading the DSC team in a global environment. Build, maintain and continuously improve all supply‑chain sustainability reports while collaborating with visionaries and diverse colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a part of the DSC team, a new team of 40+ FTE, pivotal to the company’s ambition of becoming a Digital First company.
- Build, maintain and improve all SC sustainability reports (Power BI, Excel) for the Ice Cream Company.
- Extract purchasing data about ingredients (cocoa, dairy, sugar, vanilla, sticks, etc.) and packaging (plastics, cardboard, etc.) and sustainability metrics related to logistics, manufacturing, warehousing and point‑of‑sales.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Master Data and Sustainability teams to obtain the necessary data.
- Help identify, migrate and rebuild existing sustainability reporting data and existing reports during the transition to a standalone company.
- Work closely with Unilever’s sustainability teams to understand the challenges and complexities of sustainability reporting.
- Evaluate existing sustainability KPIs and metrics, then consolidate them into a single unambiguous set of KPIs to be used across all reports.
- Adjust all reports accordingly and ensure consistency across the organisation.
- Work closely with SC teams worldwide, especially Procurement, to obtain the right data for analysis and reporting.
- Establish the DSC Reporting team as a solid foundation for all SC business reports and make it top‑of‑mind for reporting development matters.
- Be involved in digital project teams for the implementation of SaaS and in‑house solutions, providing reporting expertise and delivering quick turnaround times.
- Perform limited data engineering tasks and collaborate with IT Data & Analytics to build the best reports.
- Act as the point‑of‑contact for the business for all queries regarding sustainability reports.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: SKILLS
- Ability to execute strategic goals and align them with business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between IT, SC business and SC leadership.
- Proficiency in managing complex projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Excellent knowledge of building and maintaining standard reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, etc.), data lake structures and basic data engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address complex supply‑chain challenges.
- Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve supply‑chain reporting processes.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a reporting or data‑analysis role within supply chain.
- Proven experience with digital supply‑chain technologies and data management.
- Demonstrated success in supporting large‑scale digital projects and cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of supply‑chain best practices and emerging trends (e.g., AI, IoT).
