Job summary

A leading equipment supplier in Kathu is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to exceed sales targets across new, used, and rental equipment. Candidates should have technical knowledge of Earthmoving equipment, experience in a sales role, and strong customer relationship skills. The position requires effective territory management and sales process ownership. A Grade 12 and relevant diploma are essential.

Key Output
  • Exceed sales targets in New, Used, Rental and SEM.
  • Grow machine sales and rental hours within allocated territories/ customer base.
  • Provide total solutions offering to customers.
  • Proper and effective sales funnel management.
  • Effective territory management.
  • Accurately and efficiently, deal with sales administrative tasks.
  • Effective self-management and performance ownership.
  • Manage all aspects of sales process.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Territory planning, business planning and development skills.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Earthmoving equipment and accessories. (CAT specific product knowledge will be advantageous)
  • Knowledge of CRM Tools will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of MS office.
  • B. Tech Sales / Marketing Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication and facilitation skills.
  • Basic Financial acumen.
  • Experience in a Technical Sales Role.
